Whale watching, fishing and a buck's party
William had a big day yesterday. One of Skipper for Hire's new clients has family staying from overseas and wanted to take them whale watching. He took them out to sea on their new boat and spotted some humpbacks, seals and lots and lots of seagulls.
He then took them for a fish and the clients hooked up a wrasse just near the rocks south of Hornby Lighthouse.
They wanted to move the boat from the nearby marina to their jetty so William set up its new home and ensured the boat was safely secured to the jetty so they could go upstairs and cook their freshly caught fish for tea.
After that he headed into the city to do a buck's party onboard MV Kondor which finished up with a drop off at King Street Wharf at 11 PM. He said he had a great day on both boats and so did all his passengers.
